Multi-agent system
What is a Multi-agent system?
A multi-agent system is a setup where several specialised AI agents work together, for example one researching, one writing and one checking, coordinated by an orchestrator agent or a workflow, to complete tasks that are too broad for a single agent.

Splitting work across agents keeps each one simpler and easier to test, but adds coordination and cost, so it's used when the task genuinely needs it.
Frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI and n8n's agent nodes support multi-agent designs.
Examples
- Research → write → review content pipeline
- Intake → validation → posting for documents
